Upon entering the house, Thomas switched on the light. And I asked him &#8220;Thomas, why did you put on the light yet you can&#8217;t see?&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Thomas laughed for a long time, switched off the light and went to the kitchen, after a short while he came with a pot of tea and eggs, placed them perfectly well on the table and switched on the light again .<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-gallery columns-1 is-cropped wp-block-gallery-1 is-layout-flex wp-block-gallery-is-layout-flex\"><ul class=\"blocks-gallery-grid\"><li class=\"blocks-gallery-item\"><figure><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"720\" height=\"960\" src=\"https:\/\/azemoborgregoryfoundation.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/users-alt.svgwp-content\/uploads\/2021\/09\/241837823_396175088545813_7723927116793698918_n.jpg\" alt=\"\" data-id=\"2060\" data-full-url=\"https:\/\/azemoborgregoryfoundation.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/users-alt.svgwp-content\/uploads\/2021\/09\/241837823_396175088545813_7723927116793698918_n.jpg\" data-link=\"https:\/\/azemoborgregoryfoundation.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/users-alt.svg?attachment_id=2060\" class=\"wp-image-2060\" srcset=\"https:\/\/azemoborgregoryfoundation.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/09\/241837823_396175088545813_7723927116793698918_n.jpg 720w, https:\/\/azemoborgregoryfoundation.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/09\/241837823_396175088545813_7723927116793698918_n-225x300.jpg 225w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 720px) 100vw, 720px\" \/><\/figure><\/li><\/ul><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Thomas said what made me shed tears, he said to me, Jay Jay! &#8230;&#8230; I did not put on the light for my own sake or because I needed it, I did it for you because you needed it since you are not blind like me&#8221;. Then he asked me, &#8220;Jay Jay!! How many times have you switched off the light for other people and denied them an opportunity to see light just because you yourself do not need it?&#8221;. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I thought about that so deeply and I ask you the same question today, How many times have you put off your lights and denied others an opportunity to see the light while they are in darkness???<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" height=\"16\" width=\"16\" alt=\"\u274c\" src=\"https:\/\/static.xx.fbcdn.net\/images\/emoji.php\/v9\/tdd\/1\/16\/274c.png\"> Why would you let your accounts grow to millions while your brother&#8217;s child is going barefooted?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" height=\"16\" width=\"16\" alt=\"\u274c\" src=\"https:\/\/static.xx.fbcdn.net\/images\/emoji.php\/v9\/tdd\/1\/16\/274c.png\"> Why would you put clothes you don&#8217;t wear in the bin while someone out there is almost going naked?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" height=\"16\" width=\"16\" alt=\"\u274c\" src=\"https:\/\/static.xx.fbcdn.net\/images\/emoji.php\/v9\/tdd\/1\/16\/274c.png\"> Why would food rot in your house while there is someone out there sleeping hungry?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" height=\"16\" width=\"16\" alt=\"\u274c\" src=\"https:\/\/static.xx.fbcdn.net\/images\/emoji.php\/v9\/tdd\/1\/16\/274c.png\"> Why will you see a business opportunity and hide it without sharing it with your friends when you know you won&#8217;t use it?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" height=\"16\" width=\"16\" alt=\"\u274c\" src=\"https:\/\/static.xx.fbcdn.net\/images\/emoji.php\/v9\/tdd\/1\/16\/274c.png\"> Why will you be in a position to help someone get a promotion or a new job and you keep it because the person is not from your family, tribe or religion?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" height=\"16\" width=\"16\" alt=\"\u274c\" src=\"https:\/\/static.xx.fbcdn.net\/images\/emoji.php\/v9\/tdd\/1\/16\/274c.png\">Why will you defame your brother or sister just because you don&#8217;t want someone to help them?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Each of the questions above is equivalent to switching off the light! These are the things we should be mindful of as humans.
