She lost her husband in 2004 after a long illness. Sadly, the medical costs took all their life savings before he passed away. Since that time, life has been very turbulent for her. She struggled to raise her three children without any outside support. Consequently, she still hawks jewelry every day to survive.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>A Surprise Gift of Hope<\/strong>: However, Mrs. Mulikatu recently had a reason to smile. A volunteer group from Scotland, called the Making Noise Group, decided to support her. They presented her with the sum of \u20a620,000 to boost her petty business. For her, it felt like a dream come true. This act of kindness is a perfect example of <strong>widow empowerment in Nigeria<\/strong> in action.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>The Impact of International Kindness<\/strong>: We are so grateful to our friends from Orkney, Scotland. Their kindness proves that compassion knows no borders. By remembering Mrs. Mulikatu, they have given her hope for a better future. Furthermore, this act shows how much impact we make when we work together.
