Supporting Widows and Mothers in Nigeria: Lifting 10,000 Families Out of Poverty

Widow Empowerment

At the Azemobor Gregory Foundation, we are deeply committed to supporting widows and mothers in Nigeria by providing hope, dignity,

and opportunities for a better future. Many families continue to struggle due to poverty, and our mission is to ensure that

no child is denied education because of financial hardship.

Recently, two beneficiaries, Mrs. Afolayan (a widow) and Mrs. Ruth Uche, received ₦40,000 each to support their children’s education this term.

This support is part of a long-standing promise we made over four years ago to stand by these families throughout their children’s academic journey.

Supporting Widows and Mothers in Nigeria Through Education

Our approach tothis initiative focuses on long-term impact. Education is one of the most powerful tools for breaking the cycle of poverty, and

we are committed to making it accessible to vulnerable children.

This initiative is not just about financial support—it is about restoring hope and building a future where families can thrive independently.

Why Supporting Widows and Mothers in Nigeria Matters

With over 13.5 million children out of school in Nigeria, the need for action is urgent. Supporting widows and mothers in Nigeria helps to:

  • Keep children in school
  • Reduce poverty among vulnerable households
  • Empower women to become self-reliant
  • Strengthen communities for future generations
