Azemobor Gregory Foundation- A 70-year-old widow prayed lavishly as she gets N30,000 to boost her petty trade.

Azemobor Gregory Foundation- Join us to lift 10,000 Widows and Indigent Mothers out of Poverty.

Mrs Dorothy Iwu, a 70-year-old widow, who lost her husband 5 years ago, struggles to survive on the street from petty trading-selling roasted yam and plantain.

Although she had 4 children for her late husband, according to her 2 amongst the children died mysteriously, more reasons why she had to relocate to Lagos.

The husband of one of her surviving daughters invited her to Lagos to cater for her but is currently down with an ailment which made him incapacitated and can no longer provide for her, now she is left with no other option than to fend for herself in a hard way, in spite her old age.

In a saner clime, Mrs Dorothy, ought to be admitted into the old people’s home and being cared for by the government, but unfortunately, Nigeria does not have such facilities for her senior citizens. So sad!

And so it was a great relief for Mrs Dorothy today when the Azemobor Gregory Foundation team visited her at the Dopemu under-bridge and gifted her with a free grant of N30,000 to support her petty business.

She could not hide her excitement as she lavishly prayed for the Foundation and its partners/ donors for putting a smile on her face.

To God be the glory.
