Azemobor Gregory Foundation – A Poor widow receives help to boost her petty groundnut business.

Azemobor Gregory Foundation Throwback Thursday – Mrs. Esther Obi a 58 year old widow

Mrs Esther a widow received a cash donation from the Charity City Project team to boost her petty groundnut business, she lives at 3, Ojelade Street, Beesam, Mafoloku.

Mrs Obi has 5 children (2 daughters and 3 sons) three of which are married and two of which are school dropouts learning a trade, her children are all financially challenged with responsibilities and families to look after. Mrs Obi is a petty trader who sells groundnut to make little money to eat. With her inability to move about easily due to chronic leg pain, she is only able to make few sales as most customers are unwilling to make the trip to her house to buy groundnut.

Mrs. Obi came to Azemobor Gregory Foundation to seek help and the charity city project team was able to give her little funds to help boost her business, with a promise to support further if she makes judicious use of the money given to her.

She was extremely happy and so grateful that she could receive support from ‘strangers’. She thanked the team for their love and support and said a little prayer for our donors. She intend to use the money to buy garri, sugar and groundnut to sell and move her business forward

Special thanks to a beloved sister who made a generous donation to enable us to support these widows( Although, you prefer to be anonymous, may God who sees in Secret reward your sacrifice of love)
