You recall a widow Mrs Agnes Aghahon, who sells roasted yam at Toyin Street, Ikeja, that was empowered last year with the sum of #20,000 to boost her petty business by Azemobor Gregory Foundation. Although she is right now doing well in her petty business and is able to put food on the table for her dependent children- grandchildren.
Mrs Aghahon has been homeless for the past 2 years, sleeping on the street with her 5 children in the most harrowing and traumatized condition.
Yesterday, succour came her way, as the Azemobor Gregory Foundation paid the sum of #122,000 for a modest room apartment at Agege, Lagos, now her Joy knew no bounds, as she is about to move from the street to a sheltered-home. ( The house is under minor renovation, she is scheduled to move in next week as we bring you more update).

Our Message! Our charity stories, pictures and video are meant NOT to impress you, but to INSPIRE you to reach out and positively touch the lives of the needy and vulnerable around you.
Over 10 million Nigerians are homeless, If you drive through the streets of Lagos at night, you would be shocked to see lots of persons sleeping under the bridges and streets of Lagos. That is the sad situation, and unfortunately, society and the government are not paying compassionate attention to their plight.
Look! You too can take a family out of the street. That is our message!
True life and purposeful living is beyond our selfish individual comfort. Live for others! Live for humanity!
Together we can make the world a better place.
