Intervention: The foundation intervene in Mrs Mathias situation, Join us to lift 10,000 widows and their families out of poverty!
Mrs Magreth Mathias a widow who’s determined to face off all challenges being the breadwinner of her family has found strength and reasons for not giving up the fight as the Azemobor Gregory Foundation team intervened.
Mrs Mathias is a 36-year-old widow from (Ogoja) Cross River state, her husband Mr Mathias who’s a policeman lost his life to the cold hands of death via an Accident in 2017 while he was returning from a special duty.
Similar to 80% of widows whose deceased husbands were military personnel, she was forcefully ejected out of their apartment in the barracks with her 3 children and is presently cohabiting with a good Samaritan. She was able to cater for her family with the money she earns from selling Akara (Bean Cake) and fried yam.
Today the Azemobor Gregory Foundation donated the sum of N30,000 to Mrs Mathias to boost her petty business after counselling her. For quite some minutes, she was speechless as she didn’t even know where to start her appreciation from, The empowerment came as a surprise to her as she had never received financial help since the death of her husband.
To God be the glory Beloved the core message of our widow’s empowerment project is to touch lives while preaching the gospel of Love and at the same time inspire others to do the same, which is also the reason why we are showing videos and pictures of our charitable activities so everyone can imbibe the message of love for humanity.
Please be inspired also to do likewise. There are widows around you, go out and show them the love of God.“When we give cheerfully and accept gratefully, everyone is blessed.” – Maya Angelou
God bless you richly as you make this move.
